The grease is heavier and stays put longer between applications; the oil is thinner, brushes out further and is faster if you are doing a whole yard each morning. Black and natural grease are the same product with and without pigment — black darkens a pale or striped hoof for the show ring, natural leaves the horn its own colour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFrog Dressing is a different product entirely.\u003c\/strong\u003e It is a run-free blue gel for the central sulcus and frog, dyed so you can see when it has worn off.
