elite-pelletised-pine-equine-bedding
Elite Pelletised Pine Equine Bedding (PICKUP ONLY)

Compressed pine pellets for stable bedding, in a 15kg bag. Damped down before use, the pellets expand into a deep sawdust bed; in use, wet patches crumble and can be lifted out while the surrounding bed stays intact. Compared with shavings or straw it takes up far less storage room per stable and produces a smaller muck heap.

Two things to know before you switch a yard over. Pellets need to be damped and left to expand before the horse goes in — bedding straight from the bag is hard underfoot and dusty. And a pellet bed is deliberately shallow and firm rather than deep and springy; horses that lie down a lot, and mares foaling down, are usually better on a deep shavings or straw bed.

Supplied as a 15kg bag, which ships as heavy freight — order it with the rest of your yard supplies where you can.
