fluval-flex-2-0-poly-cartridge-34l-57l-3-pack
Fluval Flex 2.0 Poly Cartridge 34L / 57L 3 Pack

These are the carbon-impregnated polyester cartridges for the Flex 2.0 filter — one part does the mechanical work of trapping fine debris while the carbon strips toxins, discolouration and odour. They are a running cost rather than a one-off: Fluval puts the effective life of carbon in an aquarium at about a month, so a three-pack is roughly a season of filtration. Note this is the 2.0 cartridge and frame system — the original Flex 34 L and 57 L use a loose carbon insert instead and will not take these.

Supplied as three cartridges for the Flex 2.0 34 L and 57 L. The tanks they fit are listed on the Fluval Flex Aquarium page.

Features

Two jobs in one — mechanical and chemical filtration from a single cartridge slot.

Polyester layer — traps fine debris and contaminants before they break down in the water column.

Activated carbon — removes toxins, discolouration and odours.

Three-pack — three cartridges, enough for roughly three changes at the recommended interval.

Specifications

Pack size — 3 cartridges

Fits — Flex 2.0 Aquarium Kit 9 US Gal / 34 L (item 15050) and 15 US Gal / 57 L (item 15052)

Replace — every 2–4 weeks; carbon's effective life is around 1 month

Fluval item number — A1407

View this product on the Fluval website
