The coarser grain slows a horse down, which suits a horse that will hoover fine salt straight out of the feed bin, and it is easier to offer free choice in a covered bucket without it caking.

Use it in feed at a measured rate, or leave it out and let the horse take what it wants. Free choice only works if the salt stays dry - a bucket that fills with rain becomes a brine and gets ignored.

As with any salt, make sure the horse has constant access to clean water. Salt without water is the one way to cause a problem with it.

Features

Coarse granules - slower to eat than fine salt, less caking

5kg pack

Feed or free choice - works either way

Sizes

5kg.

See the fine salt and lick blocks in Minrosa, or browse horse supplies.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0563/6676/0120/files/default_ac96bd30-0b90-4350-815c-5674feddb1c4.jpg?v=1788993131
