On mature standing feed, nitrogen is usually what is limiting, and adding it lifts what cattle get out of the paddock they are already in.

Urea safety — read before feeding

Urea is toxic if consumed too quickly. Introduce urea blocks to stock that are full rather than hungry, never place them where an empty mob arrives first, keep water available at all times, and do not feed urea products to horses.
