The balloons and tunnel tube go in as moulds, you pack clay around them and let it dry, then remove them — leaving proper caves and tunnels rather than the shallow scrapes you get shaping clay by hand. Includes 5.4kg of clay, so it is a starter kit for a modest enclosure rather than a full substrate load.

What's included

5.4kg Excavator clay substrate

18cm tunnel tube — forms a through-tunnel

Two 13cm round balloons and two 23cm round balloons — form caverns

Balloon attachment assembly

25cm shovel and mixing bag

Full installation booklet

Using it

Mix the clay wet, pack it around the inflated formers, and let it dry completely before deflating and removing them.
