It is snag-proof woven nylon with quick-release buckles, so it comes off in a second when your cat has had enough, and the neck strap carries a removable bell — useful for tracking where your cat is in the garden, and for giving birds a warning. Fit matters more than size on a cat harness: adjust it so you can just slide two fingers under the strap, and expect a cat new to a harness to freeze or walk oddly for the first few sessions indoors before going outside.
