Matching the treat to your bird

Size is the first thing to check. The Birdie Nibbler kabobs run from Small through Large to X-Large, so a budgie is better suited to a small walnut and fruit or capsicum and fruit kabob than to the jumbo corn segment and cucumber slice skewer built for a larger parrot. Beak strength matters as well: whole corn cob and zucchini pieces give a strong chewer something to work at, while the small kabobs suit budgies and other small birds.
