The Birdie range at PeekAPaw covers most of what goes inside and around a bird cage: hanging toys and foot toys, foraging puzzles, shredders, perches, ladders, swings, play gyms and playpens, huts, edible treats, feeders, cage stands and the cages themselves. Buying the cage and its contents from one range makes it straightforward to fit out a set-up in one go.
Sizing: read the centimetres
Birdie publishes dimensions on the cages and on most of the larger toys, which takes the guesswork out. Cages run from compact arch-top and round-top styles around 47 x 36 x 69cm, through flight cages at 66 x 36 x 60cm, up to taller open-top models at 47 x 47 x 80cm, and several are sold with a matching stand. Toys are labelled Small, Medium, Medium/Large or Jumbo. The small toys built on light beads, sisal and wicker suit budgies, canaries and finches. Medium and Medium/Large piles, shredder tubes and rattan lanterns suit cockatiels, conures and ringnecks. The Jumbo blocks, bead spools and rope spirals are for cockatoos and macaws that dismantle anything softer.

Birdie Naturals is the plant-fibre and untreated timber line — java wood trunk feeders, cork chaos, rope ladders, foraging trunks, hanging rings and shredding balls — for keepers who want natural materials in the cage. Birdie Nibbler is the edible side: jumbo corn segments and cucumber slices, corn cob and zucchini, walnut and fruit kabobs, capsicum kabobs and peanut and melon balls, which work as both a treat and something to pick apart. The rainbow line is the brightly coloured timber and acrylic group — puzzles, bridges, circles, spinning sticks, flying wheels and popsicle hangers.
