Over 200 fish supplies for freshwater, marine and pond keeping — aquariums and cabinets, filters, pumps, heaters and lighting, water conditioners and test strips, artificial plants and ornaments, and food for everything from bettas to koi. The weight of this range sits on the practical side of fishkeeping: API supplies the bulk of the water treatments and remedies, and Juwel supplies the tanks.

Choosing a tank and getting the water right

Volume is the first decision and the hardest one to change later. Larger volumes are more forgiving, because temperature and water chemistry move slowly and a mistake gets diluted rather than concentrated. Juwel's LED aquariums run from the 57L and 70L Primo up to 450L Rio and Vision units, with matching base cabinets, while the Classica starter kit and the Fluval Flex saltwater kit suit a first tank or a small marine setup. Whatever the size, a new tank needs cycling before fish go in. A bacterial starter such as API Quick Start or Nutrafin Cycle seeds the filter, a dechlorinator makes tap water safe, and test strips tell you when ammonia and nitrite have settled. After that most water issues are routine work: partial water changes, a clarifier or algaecide when needed, and pH buffers only where your tap water genuinely sits outside what your fish want.

Filters, pumps, heating and pond gear

Filtration is sized by tank volume and stocking rather than by brand. Hydor's Crystal and Pico internal filters and the AquaClear CycleGuard power filter cover small to mid-sized tanks, Hydor Koralia and Seltz movement pumps add flow for marine and planted setups, and the Slim Skim Nano is a protein skimmer for nano reefs. Media is consumable — activated carbon, Bio-Chem Zorb pouches and Tetra filter cartridges are replaced on a cycle rather than cleaned indefinitely. Tropical tanks need a heater such as the Hydor Theo; coldwater goldfish tanks generally do not. Outdoors, Blagdon covers pond pumps, in-pond multi-filters and UV clarifiers, and API has a matching pond range of clarifiers, sludge treatments and conditioners.

Plants, decor and food

Amazon Jungle supplies the artificial plant range — around 35 pieces including ferns, anubias on rock, spinifex, palms and plants mounted on logs and branches — plus a couple of ornaments. For live-planted tanks, API Leaf Zone, CO2 Booster and aquatic plant food tablets handle the fertilising. Food comes from API, Tetra and Nutrafin in flake, pellet, granule, stick, wafer and gel form, split by species into tropical, goldfish, cichlid, betta, discus, pleco and bottom-feeder formats.
