A dense clump of aphilia foliage on a moulded log, 16cm tall. Density is the point here — where the Twin Indo Fern is open and see-through, this one is a solid mass, which is what fry and shrimp need when there are bigger fish in the tank.
That same density means it does not read as “light and airy”. If your scape is already busy, one is enough.
Features
- 16cm — midground height with a heavy foliage mass
- Dense growth — genuine cover for fry, shrimp and shy species
- Moulded log base — no planting, moves without disturbing substrate
- No maintenance — no lighting, CO2, fertiliser or trimming, and herbivorous fish will not eat it
- 145g shipping weight
Care
Rinse under warm running water before it goes in the tank. Every few months, lift it out and swish it in a bucket of old tank water to shift the algae film that settles on any decor — never use soap or detergent.
Worth knowing
Artificial plants do not take up nitrate or oxygenate the water the way live plants do. They are for structure, cover and looks — your filter and water changes still do the work.
