Choosing a litter mat

A mat catches the granules a cat carries out on its paws, and the main decision is size. The mats here run from a compact M-Pets Footprint mat at 42x32cm, through the M-Pets paw shape at 60x45cm and rectangular at 60x89cm, up to a D.GS Dog Gone Smart mat at 66x88cm. Measure the floor in front of the tray, then size up if your cat is an enthusiastic digger — the bigger the landing zone, the less litter reaches the hallway. Deodorisers, absorbent pads and cleaners

These three do different jobs and are often confused.
