Cat

The whole cat side of PeekAPaw sits in this collection: cat supplies covering wet and dry food, treats, litter and trays, toys, scratchers and cat trees, grooming tools, carriers and strollers, and flea, worm and calming care. It is the top level of the cat range, so use it to find the right sub-category, then narrow by brand or by whether your cat is a kitten, an adult or an indoor-only cat.

Feeding: wet, dry, or both

Most Australian households feed a mix. Wet food in cans, trays and pouches carries most of its weight as moisture, which matters for cats that drink little; it comes in gravy, jelly, pate and mousse textures, and texture is often what a fussy cat is actually reacting to. Dry food is easier to portion and leave down. Air-dried and freeze-dried diets from Ziwi Peak, Feline Natural and Absolute Holistic are a third option with high meat inclusions and no refrigeration. Beyond format, look at what the formula is built for: Royal Canin alone runs Indoor, Hairball Care, Digestive Care, Sensory Taste, Instinctive and Mother & BabyCat lines, and kitten formulas stay in use until about twelve months.

Litter, trays and odour control

Litter is where cats are fussiest, and changing type abruptly is a common cause of trays being ignored. The collection covers clumping and non-clumping minerals, plant-based tofu litter such as Tofu Cat Litter Australia Original, and zeolite pellets such as Ezi-LockOdour, which work by trapping odour rather than clumping. Match the tray to the litter — fine clumping litters need a solid tray and a slotted scoop, while pellets suit dual-layer systems like the Ezi-LockOdour kits. Absorbent pads and liners handle the rest. If you are switching litter, mix the new one in gradually rather than swapping in one go.
