Premium red millet still on the stem, in 50g and 200g packs. One ingredient, nothing added — which is the appeal, and also the catch. Millet spray is the most palatable thing most cage birds will ever be offered, so a bird with unlimited access to it will eat millet in preference to a balanced seed blend. Hang one spray at a time and take it out when it is stripped.
Suits all small and large birds, parrots and passerines alike — budgerigars, canaries, finches, cockatiels, lovebirds, conures and larger parrots. Part of the Whistler range.
Benefits
- Single ingredient — no binder, sugar or preservative, useful if your bird reacts to something in a mixed treat.
- Foraging on the stem — the bird strips the seed head itself, which takes time and effort.
- Fibre and protein — millet is naturally a reasonable source of both.
- Good for nervous or unwell birds — often accepted when nothing else is, and useful for hand-taming.
Ingredients
Red millet.
Feeding Guide
Hang one to three millet sprays inside the cage, aviary, or on a branch close to the perch. Provide your bird with fresh food each day. Discard the empty outer stem so your bird can reach the pods easily. Ensure your bird has access to fresh water daily. Additional selected fruits and vegetables should be given to your bird as a healthy treat.
Storage
For maximum freshness, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the bag sealed.
