A pop-up fabric hideaway shaped like a popcorn carton, with a ruffled top opening, a crinkly dangling kernel and a peek-a-boo window in the side. It gives a cat a den to disappear into and something to ambush from, and it can stand upright or lie on its side. It is a light sprung-fabric structure rather than a solid cat house, so a large cat launching into it will shift it across the floor, and there is no scratching surface — pair it with a post if that is what you are after. No catnip in it.
About 28 x 28cm at the base and 42cm tall when popped up, and it folds down flat to a 6mm carton, so it stores behind a door. See the rest of the range in our KONG collection.
Features
- Pop-up frame — sprung steel in a polyester shell, so it sets up with no assembly
- Peek-a-boo window — lets a cat watch the room without leaving the den
- Crinkly kernel — a dangling target at the opening for batting on the way in
- Ruffled opening — popcorn-style trim around the top entry
- Folds flat — collapses to 6mm for storage between uses
Care
Spot clean the fabric with a damp cloth and air dry; do not machine wash, as the sprung steel frame is sewn in. Inspect it frequently and take it out of use if the fabric tears or the frame kinks, since a bent frame can work through the fabric. Supervised use only, and remove all packaging before your cat gets to it.
