KONG Play Spaces Pawpcorn is a pop-up den built to look like a carton of popcorn, with a ruffled opening at the top, a crinkly kernel dangling at the entrance and a peek-a-boo window cut into the side. Stand it upright and a cat goes in over the top; lay it on its side and it becomes a tunnel to ambush out of. There is no catnip in this one — the draw is the shape, the crinkle and the window. It folds down flat between uses and comes in one size.

Size and materials
About 28 x 28 x 42cm when popped up. KONG gives the composition as 92% polyester, 4% polypropylene, 2% elastic and 2% steel, so the frame is sewn into the fabric. Spot clean only, and retire it if the fabric tears or the frame kinks.
