KONG Reflex Tug pairs a moulded ring with a stretchy fabric strap, so a game of tug has some spring in it instead of pulling dead against the jaw. The dog takes the ring, you hold the strap, and the strap absorbs the sharp end of the pull. The ring is made from the same self-healing material as the rest of the Reflex line, which closes over toothmarks rather than tearing along them, and the toy floats, so it doubles as a throw-and-retrieve toy at the water.
