NuHeart is a monthly ivermectin tablet that prevents heartworm in dogs. Doses are colour-coded by body weight: blue for dogs up to 11kg (68mcg), green for 11-23kg (136mcg) and red for 23-45kg (272mcg).

NuHeart prevents heartworm only; it does not treat intestinal worms, fleas or ticks. Dogs over 6 months old should be tested for existing heartworm before starting. Some breeds are sensitive to ivermectin, so check with your vet if unsure.
