Tofu Cat Litter Australia Oat is the only product in PeekAPaw's house-brand tofu litter range made from oat plant fibre rather than pea fibre, and it is manufactured in Australia from Australian-grown oat material. Because oat fibre is a lighter, less dense material than the pea fibre used in Original, Plus and Auto, Oat is sold by volume - 10L bags and 10L x 3 cartons - rather than by weight in kilograms like the rest of the range. That is worth knowing before comparing prices on a per-kilo basis: a 10L bag and a similarly priced kilo bag are not measuring the same thing, so comparing by volume, or by how many weeks a bag lasts your household, is a fairer way to judge value. Oat carries the same patented enzyme-activation odour control as the rest of the range, is 99% dust-free, clumps solidly for easy scooping, and uses a non-stick formula that keeps the tray easier to clean. It suits owners who specifically want an oat-based, rather than pea-based, natural litter made in Australia.

How to Use
If your cat is used to a different litter, transition gradually over about three days, mixing in more Oat each day, so the change in scent and texture does not put them off the tray. Scoop clumps and solids daily and do a full litter change every 4-5 weeks, or sooner if odour builds up. If flushing, only send small amounts down at a time, and never flush a whole tray in one go.
