Bird Supplies for Parrots, Budgies and Finches

Start with the diet, then build the cage around it
Diet is the part worth getting right first. Seed mixes such as the Forage Gourmet and Forage Everyday ranges are blended by species, so a Budgie mix and a Macaw, African Grey & Amazon mix differ in seed size, shell hardness and oil content rather than being one blend in different bags. Pellet diets — Vetafarm Nutriblend Mini, Small and Large, Maintenance Diet Pellets, Paradise Pellets and the Trill Vitablend pellets — are sized to the bird and put the same nutrition in every piece, which suits birds that pick their favourite seeds and leave the rest. Cage furniture, enrichment and routine care
A cage needs perches in more than one diameter and material to keep feet in good condition, somewhere to shred and forage, and feeders sized to the bird. Toys here cover chewable timber, cork and cardboard, rattan and seagrass shredders, foraging boxes and barrels, swings, ladders, play gyms and foot toys, so you can rotate a few items instead of leaving the same toy up for months.
