Zippy Paws is best known for plush toys shaped like food — donuts, cocktails, takeaway containers — but the range splits into a few clear groups, and picking the right group matters more than picking the right picture on the box. The toys are made for carrying, squeaking, shaking and foraging; only the ZippyTuff line is built with heavy mouthing in mind.
Plush and squeaker toys
Donutz run from Junior through standard to Jumbo, with a Donutz Burrow and a firmer Tuff Donutz in the same shape. Jigglerz are long, floppy and unstuffed, so a torn one is a flat piece of fabric rather than a room full of filling. NomNomz are the food shapes — pizza slice, boba milk tea, pumpkin spice latte. Crusherz hide a plastic bottle inside a plush skin for the crackle noise, and cover both the Happy Hour drink shapes and the Bottle Crusherz animals. Skinny Peltz and Fluppy Peltz are flat, low-stuffing animals sold singly or in two- and three-packs, and RopeTugz add a rope body for two-ended tugging. Squeakie Crawlers, Squeakie Pads and Squeakie Buddies are the smaller squeaker shapes, and Playful Pals and Snooziez cover the larger cuddle-style plush.
Burrow and puzzle toys
Plush Burrow toys hide three small squeaky animals or objects inside a plush shell for a dog to pull out and for you to stuff back in — pizza box, ramen bowl, honey pot, fox stump. Interactive Burrow toys work the same way in larger, more elaborate builds such as the retro camper and the pig barn. The SmartPaws and Smarty Paws Puzzlers are hard plastic sliders and spinners that hide treats under moving panels, and the Happy Bowl slow feeders take the same idea to mealtimes. These are the ones to reach for on a day when a long walk is not happening.
ZippyTuff and ZippyClaws
ZippyTuff is the moulded rubber side of the range: waggle balls, squeaker balls, rings, a treat ball and a tree branch chew, plus the softer Teetherz shapes made for puppies. ZippyClaws is the cat range — catnip Kickerz, Catnip Crusherz, small NomNomz food shapes and burrow toys sized for a cat.
Sizes vary a lot within a single range, so check the listed dimensions rather than assuming a name implies a size. Anything with a squeaker or small parts belongs with a supervised dog, and a toy that has been opened up should be retired rather than repaired.
