3M Comply 1322 is a beige, lead-free steam indicator tape used to close wrapped instrument packs before autoclaving. The diagonal indicator stripes change colour when the pack has been exposed to a steam cycle, so staff can tell processed and unprocessed packs apart at a glance.

A colour change shows exposure to steam only; it does not confirm that sterilisation conditions were met. Use it alongside a chemical integrator such as the 3M Attest Type 5 integrator.
