API Pond Simply Clear is a bacterial pond water clarifier for freshwater garden ponds, used to clear cloudy, murky water and break down the sludge that builds up on the pond floor. It works in two steps: the clarifier draws fine suspended particles together into larger clumps that settle to the bottom, where the beneficial bacteria in the formula then consume them along with accumulated sludge. API describes it as a triple-action treatment that clears water, consumes sludge and helps break down algae, and says it is most effective when dosed every two weeks, which makes it a maintenance product rather than a one-off fix.

Directions
Shake well before use and measure with the dosing cap.
- Start-up dose (spring start-up and end of season): 60ml per 946 litres (250 US gallons) of pond water, twice a week for 2 weeks.
- Maintenance dose: 30ml per 946 litres (250 US gallons) every 2 weeks.
