The Blagdon Amphibious IQ is a digital pond pump for waterfalls and filter systems. The variable-speed motor lets you match flow to the job rather than running flat out, and the controller shows a plain-English message when something needs attention.
- Motor protection — if the pump detects that the motor is clogged or jammed it pauses and displays "motor jammed, clean impeller, clean rotor", then restarts safely once the blockage is cleared.
- Run-dry protection — if the pump runs out of water it pauses and displays "water low, add water", then restarts safely once the water is topped up.
- Adjustable flow — stop, start, raise or lower power and flow from the controller, so the pump runs at the rate the waterfall or filter actually needs.
- Soft start — flow builds gradually to the pre-set level, which reduces wear on the pump and stress on the pipework and filters fitted to the system.
- Any-way-up placement — holes are distributed evenly around the casing, so water reaches the pump from all sides and a partial debris blockage will not stop it. The clear impeller housing lets you check for blockages or damage without dismantling the pump.
Each pump is supplied with the controller, hose tails and a complete set of fittings. Four adjustable flow ranges are available: 2250-4500, 3000-6000, 4500-9000 and 6000-12000 litres per hour.
