The consumable service kit for an InPond — filter foams plus polymer wool pads. Foam is where the mechanical filtration happens and where the biological bacteria live; wool is the fine polishing stage that catches what the foam misses.

- 2000 — also fits the Affinity View Octagon and Affinity View Half Moon pools
- 3000 — InPond 3000 only
- 6000 / 9000 — one filter foam set (green and black) plus six polymer wool pads. Fits the InPond 5 in 1 6000 and the InPond 6 in 1 9000
Servicing it properly
Rinse the foams in a bucket of pond water, never under a tap. Chlorine kills the nitrifying bacteria living in the foam, and a pond that goes cloudy a week after a filter clean is almost always a filter that was washed in tap water.
Replace foams when they no longer spring back after squeezing, and swap wool pads whenever they are grey and matted — those are consumables, not washables.
Note
Kits are not interchangeable between sizes. Blagdon does not publish a replacement interval.
