Hideject is an injectable combination of vitamins A, D3 and E for livestock. Stock grazing dry pasture or on stored feed for long periods can run short of these fat-soluble vitamins, and a single injection tops up body reserves. Vitamin D3 plays a role in calcium metabolism, which is why the supplier lists it alongside milk fever programs — it does not replace calcium treatment of a cow that is already down.
