Viraban is a broad spectrum disinfectant supplied as a powder that is dissolved in water at the rate on the label. It is used for cleaning and disinfecting farm buildings, poultry sheds, stables, vehicles and equipment, including as part of a biosecurity footbath program. Disinfectants work on clean surfaces — remove organic matter such as manure and bedding first, or the product is used up before it reaches the surface.
