Gastro Race + is the marine-mineral member of the Equine Products Ireland gastric range, built on seaweed meal and Lithothamnium calcareous algae rather than a synthetic buffer. Those macro-algae naturally carry calcium, magnesium and copper, and flax oil brings omega-3 alongside a live yeast digestibility enhancer. It is aimed at racehorses and horses in hard, grain-heavy work; a horse on a forage-first ration under light work is a poorer fit for it.
10kg tub. Equine Products Ireland states the formulation complies with equestrian sport regulations and is free of contaminants — still worth confirming against your own governing body's current list before a race meeting.
Benefits
- Marine mineral base — calcium and magnesium come from calcareous algae rather than a synthetic salt.
- Omega-3 from flax oil — included in the blend rather than fed separately.
