Gastro Sport is the daily gastric supplement in the Equine Products Ireland range, aimed at performance horses whose work, travel and grain intake all pull against a settled stomach. It combines probiotics and prebiotics with Acid Buf — a buffer made from calcareous marine algae harvested off Ireland and Iceland, which also brings calcium and magnesium — and added magnesium for its calming contribution. Equine Products Ireland describes it as supporting regeneration of the stomach's mucosal lining and the production of glutathione. It is a feed supplement, not a substitute for veterinary treatment of diagnosed ulceration.
Two sizes. At 50g a day the 2kg is about 40 days for one horse and the 4.5kg about 90 days.
