A liquid supplement that goes into the drinking water rather than onto the food. It keeps electrolytes balanced in body fluids and supplies vitamin D3, which reptiles need in order to use the calcium in their diet — the shortfall behind metabolic bone disease in captive animals. Because it is dosed into water, an animal that drinks heavily gets more than one that barely drinks, so treat it as a support product and not a measured dose of D3. If you are already using a D3-fortified powder, do not run both without thinking it through; excess vitamin D3 is harmful and is not something the animal can excrete its way out of.
One 120ml bottle (Exo Terra item PT1993), listed on the brand's own site simply as Electrolyte. For a powder that dusts onto food instead, see our Vitamize Multi Vitamin Powder; for minerals without D3, see Liquid Calcium + Magnesium. The rest of the range is in our Exo Terra collection.
