An analogue dial hygrometer that sticks inside the terrarium and shows the relative humidity where it is mounted. Humidity that sits too low causes retained shed and dehydration; humidity that sits too high invites respiratory infection, so having a number in front of you beats guessing. Be aware it reads one point in the enclosure, not the whole box — a misted corner and a dry basking end can differ by a lot, and an analogue dial will not log or alarm.
Single adhesive-backed unit (Exo Terra item PT2466). Exo Terra now lists it as the Analog Hygrometer. Most keepers run it beside the matching Rept-O-Meter Analogue Thermometer, since temperature and humidity move together; more habitat gear is in our Exo Terra collection.
Features
- No batteries — nothing to power, nothing to fail mid-season.
- Adhesive mount — peel the backing, clean and dry the surface, press firmly into place.
- Easy-to-read dial — a glance from outside the glass is enough, so you are not opening the door to check.
- Zone monitoring — mount one near the water or misted end and one at the dry end if your species needs a humidity gradient.
Specifications
Sold as a single unit; shipping weight 20g. Exo Terra does not publish a dial diameter or a measuring range for this model, so we have left both blank rather than guess at them.
