A buffered loose supplement with Rumensin for cattle on high-grain or rapidly changing rations, where rumen pH swings are the main risk. The buffer moderates acid load and the monensin shifts rumen fermentation towards propionate.
Supplied as a single 20kg loose supplement.
Buffers and ionophores manage the consequences of a high-grain ration - they do not make a badly introduced ration safe. Transition stock onto grain properly first.
Contains an ionophore. Rumensin (monensin) and Bovatec (lasalocid) are registered for ruminants only. They are fatal to horses and dogs at levels that are safe for cattle and sheep, and there is no antidote. Keep this product away from horses, ponies, donkeys and working dogs, do not let them access the feed area or spillage, and do not exceed the label rate for the species it is registered for.
This is a solid 20kg loose supplement. Freight on that weight is unavoidable, so pickup or combining it with the rest of a paddock order is the sensible way to buy it.
