The rubber chicken, done in latex with a squeaker that lives up to the name. Dogs love the noise; households sometimes do not, which is the first thing to weigh up. The second is durability — latex is soft enough to squeak with a light bite, which also means a dedicated destroyer will open it up. Keep it for supervised games rather than unattended chewing.
Two lengths: 24cm, which most dogs can carry easily, and a 43cm version with far more flop for shaking and tug. Both are light for their size. The Latex Turkey Foot is the other oddly shaped bird in the line-up.
Features
- Latex body — soft, flexible and quick to squeak.
- Loud squeaker — the noise is the appeal, for the dog at least.
- 24cm and 43cm — a carryable size and a full floppy one.
- Good to shake — long limbs make it satisfying to whip about.
Care
Play supervised and retire the chicken once the latex tears.
