A monobloc syringe with a Luer Lock tip, sold individually, from Genia's veterinary range. The Luer Lock thread holds the needle on under pressure, which matters with thick products and animals that move. The supplier describes it as a monobloc Luer Lock syringe with orange markings; it is not listed as sterile single-use, so clean it between uses according to your vet's advice.

Handling
Use a new sterile needle for every animal. Do not re-sheath a used needle, and dispose of sharps in an approved sharps container, never in household or farm waste. Sale and possession of hypodermic needles and syringes is regulated in some Australian states and territories; buy and use them in line with your local requirements.
