A reusable tick remover with a spoon-shaped slot that slides under the tick and lifts it out whole, without squeezing the body or leaving the mouthparts in the skin. Squeezing a tick with tweezers can push its contents back into the animal, so a tool like this is the better way to remove one. In paralysis-tick areas, a tick is a reason to see your vet the same day even after it is out — removing it does not reverse the toxin already injected.
