A moisture manager rather than a hoof oil. The gel forms a semi-permeable barrier — the same idea as a breathable rain jacket — so the horn stays watertight in wet weather but does not dry and crack in a hot spell. It also shields the foot from ammonia, urine and manure in a stable, which is where a lot of horn damage actually starts.
Do not layer it over conventional hoof oils or greases; they block it. Supplied in a 1L bottle.

How to use
Apply over hoof, frog, sole and heels every two days in normal conditions, or every four days in dry weather. Add an extra coat before muddy going.
