A cluster of pompoms with a bell tucked inside and a turkey feather tail trailing behind it, the KONG Cat Active Bubble Ball Teaser keeps producing movement and noise after a cat has stopped touching it. At about 23 cm long including the tail and only 30 g, it skitters right across floorboards from a light swat — which is the whole point for a cat that plays alone between your sessions. Colours are assorted and sent at random. The feather tail is the part that wears out first, so retire the toy once feathers or ribbon begin pulling loose.

KONG gives the composition as 94% polyester, 2% iron, 2% polypropylene and 2% turkey feathers, made in China. Spot clean only and do not soak — the bell and the feather binding are not made for washing. Check the tail before each session and supervise play; this is not a chew toy.
