Goldie is the medium character in the KONG Comfort Pups range, a long-eared plush dog with very little stuffing in it. That is the design, not a shortcut: a mostly-empty body folds over itself, so a dog shaking it gets a satisfying flop instead of a rigid lump, and there is far less to pick off the carpet than with a conventional stuffed toy. The ears crinkle when they are mouthed and a squeaker sits in the body. Best suited to dogs that carry a toy around and settle with it rather than dogs that dismantle one.
