Pet Blocks are Minrosa's small format - the same compressed salt and mineral lick they make for livestock, scaled down to 200g for a dog run, an aviary or a small animal enclosure.
Most dogs on a complete commercial diet do not need supplementary salt, so treat this as an option for working dogs, dogs kept outdoors in heat, or animals on a home-prepared diet where you know sodium is short. It is a free-choice lick, so the animal takes what it wants.
Fresh water alongside is not optional. And if your dog is on a sodium-restricted diet for a heart or kidney condition, check with your vet before offering any salt lick.
