The A-Maze Ball is a level 2 treat maze. Kibble goes into the hollow centre and falls out a piece at a time as your dog rolls the ball across the floor. It suits a dog that has already solved a basic treat ball and needs a harder problem. It is a puzzle rather than a chew toy — the shell is rigid plastic and will crack under a determined chewer, so it belongs in supervised sessions rather than the toy basket.
The centre also takes a standard 6.4cm (2.5in) tennis ball, so the same shell works as a maze, a treat dispenser and a fetch ball. The rest of the range is in the Nina Ottosson collection.
Features
- Level 2, intermediate — for dogs with some puzzle experience. A level 1 game is the better starting point for a beginner.
- Three uses in one shell — treat maze, slow feeder, or fetch ball with a tennis ball inside.
- Slows fast eaters — a meal fed through the maze takes considerably longer than the same meal in a bowl.
- Easy to clean — warm water and mild soap, then air dry.
Safety
Supervise every session. No toy is indestructible — check for cracks or chewed edges before each use and retire the toy if any part works loose.
