Three stacked discs spin independently, and between them they hold over 100 small compartments. The dog turns each layer with nose or paw to line up the openings and reach what is inside. Dry treats make it a quick game; peanut butter or wet food frozen into the compartments turns it into a twenty-minute one.
It works as a slow feeder as well as a puzzle, which is the main reason to choose it over a simpler game. There is a smaller version sized for puppies — see the Nina Ottosson collection.
Features
- Level 2, intermediate — three independent layers, so there is more than one thing to work out.
- Over 100 compartments — spreads a meal thin enough to slow a fast eater right down.
- Freezer friendly — freeze xylitol-free peanut butter, wet food or plain yoghurt into the layers for a longer session.
- Food-safe materials — free from BPA, PVC and phthalates.
Safety
Supervise every session. This is a puzzle, not a chew toy — do not leave your dog alone with it and take it away once the food is gone.
