A compact Hydro-Pure filter for nano tanks under 50 litres. Changing the fittings turns it into a surface skimmer, a conventional internal filter, or a low-water-level filter for a turtle tank — the skimmer intake self-adjusts over about 30 mm of water level change, so it keeps working as the tank evaporates down between top-ups. A sieve on the skimmer inlet keeps small fish and shrimp out of the impeller.
At 300 L/h it is genuinely a nano unit. On anything above 50 L it will circulate the water but will not keep up with the waste load.
