Pet Relax uses a valerian-based essential oil blend with a scent that pets are drawn to, working by distraction rather than sedation. It is suited to dogs, cats and other small pets during events such as fireworks, travel, vet visits, boarding and grooming. Results vary between animals, and it is not a treatment for severe anxiety — speak to your vet about that. The spray is applied to bedding, a bandana or the inside of a carrier rather than directly onto your pet.
