Petsmile Professional Pet Toothpaste in London Broil (beef) flavour is a plaque and tartar control toothpaste for dogs and cats, available from PeekAPaw in Small and Large tubes (the Large is a 4.2oz tube). It is built around Petsmile's Calprox formula, which works by breaking down the protein pellicle: the thin film that forms on the tooth surface and gives plaque, bacteria and stains something to hold on to. Petsmile states that it is the only pet plaque and tartar control toothpaste accepted by the VOHC (Veterinary Oral Health Council), and that Calprox is clinically proven to inhibit plaque and tartar build-up. Because the paste does its work chemically, it can simply be applied to the teeth for pets that will not tolerate a brush, and your pet can eat or drink straight afterwards. The same formula also comes in Rotisserie Chicken flavour.

How to use
Apply the toothpaste directly onto your pet's teeth and let their tongue spread it. For the best results, brush once or twice a day with a pet toothbrush to clear debris and massage the gums. If your pet has red or bleeding gums, loose teeth or persistent bad breath, have your vet check their mouth, as toothpaste is not a substitute for a dental examination.
