Shield is an insect repellent applied to horses before work or turnout. Repellents are a comfort measure, not a fly control programme — if flies are bad enough to need daily spraying, the manure and standing water within a hundred metres of the yard are usually the real problem.
Supplied in 250ml and 1L. The 250ml suits one horse; the 1L is more economical for a yard. See also Pharmachem Swat.
