Compressed cubes of 50% mountain meadow hay and 50% lucerne (alfalfa), sold as a forage treat for rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice and other small herbivores. Lucerne is what makes them rewarding — it is high in protein and calcium — and it is also the reason they sit alongside a grass-hay diet rather than replacing it. An adult rabbit or guinea pig prone to urinary sludge is better off with an occasional handful than a daily ration.
500 g pack. Feed with unlimited grass hay from our small animal grass & hay range.
