A hollow roll of timothy hay that works as a treat and a burrow at the same time. Timothy is a grass hay — higher in fibre and lower in protein and calcium than lucerne — which is why it can be fed more freely than the alfalfa products in this range. The animal eats the wall and sits inside what is left.
Two sizes. The medium measures about 14.5 cm across and 25.5 cm long with a 13 cm interior, so it suits a rabbit or a pair of guinea pigs; the small is a single-occupant size better matched to rats and dwarf rabbits. Feed alongside our small animal grass & hay range.
Benefits
- Timothy hay — grass hay fibre, which supports gut movement and molar wear.
- Doubles as a burrow — shelter and food in one item.
- Two sizes — matched to the animal rather than one size for everything.
