A bolstered bed with extra-high padded sides, so a dog that likes to burrow and lean can tuck in out of draughts. The base is orthopaedic foam, which is why Superior points it at older dogs, dogs recovering from injury, and dogs living with hip problems or arthritis. The bolsters are filled with recycled PET fibre and Australian foam, the outer is tear-resistant ripstop canvas, and the whole cover unzips for the machine.
The high sides are the point of this bed, but they also make it harder for a dog with badly reduced mobility to step in and out — a flat ortho mat is the kinder option there. The ripstop is water-repellent rather than waterproof, so it sheds a spill but is not a solution for incontinence.

Zip the cover off for machine washing and tumble drying. The filling is treated with Ultra-Fresh for mould resistance.
