The Trovan LID560 is a handheld reader for scanning animal microchips, used by vets, shelters, rescue groups and council rangers to identify pets. It reads ISO-standard microchips, the type used in Australia. Read range depends on chip type and position — scan slowly over the shoulders and along the sides.
