The Mix & Zap Kitty Cat Cake Kit is the cat version of Wagalot's microwave cake: 165g of mix and icing, made up with water and cooked in the microwave. It exists because the dog kits are formulated for dogs, and a cat birthday deserves something a cat will actually eat.
Cats are far less interested in cake than dogs are, and they eat much smaller portions. Expect this to be a novelty for the photo rather than something your cat works through — serve a teaspoon or two, keep the rest refrigerated, and do not be offended if it gets a sniff and a walk away. Cats are also more prone than dogs to going off their normal food after a rich novelty, so keep the serve small.
How to use
- Mix with water as directed and microwave for the stated time
- Cool completely before icing and before serving
- Serve a small portion; refrigerate the remainder
