Wahl's Ultimate Competition Series detachable blades for A5-style detachable blade clippers, including Wahl KM models. The blade number sets the cut length — the higher the number, the shorter the cut: #40 (0.6mm) is a surgical-length clip, #30 and #15 are close finishing blades, and #8.5 to #5F leave progressively more coat. Care
Keep blades clean and oiled with a clipper oil and cool them with a blade spray during long clips — a hot blade can burn skin. Have blades professionally sharpened when they start to drag.
